Uganda, one of the least developed countries in the world, was once called the "Pearl of Africa" by Winston Churchill that holds numerous resources. The Busia Gold Mine there has a mining area of 9.13 square kilometers, with an initial proven ore reserve of 8.39 million tons and a gold reserve of 25 tons. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to boost the development of surrounding industries.

Since 2019, SDLG has begun to keep a close eye on the progress of the project. The customer was plagued by the special structure of gold mines. They faced safety hazards caused by overheight conventional loaders and suffered from the high cost and inefficiency of underground scrapers. SDLG team plunged ahead and they made a deep investigation on the underground working condition. After an overall analysis, L920 underground loader was chosen to troubleshoot their concerns. Even though the customer had doubts about that, they could not find a better way. Passively, they bought 2 units of L920.

The results totally shattered their worries. “I wonder if L920 was specifically designed for us. It fits this work so perfectly.” the customer said. The high efficiency and reliability of L920 coupled with the expert service and fast parts supply deepened their impression and earned their continual trust.

In early 2022, four more SDLG underground loaders were purchased. Recently they have arrived at the site and are ready for their new journey. As the project develops, the customer expressed their willing that more equipment would be purchased in the near future, and SDLG machine was definitely their first choice.

Now SDLG L920 underground loaders have been the super stars in the working sites and the highlights of this project. “I am always excited to share this case to every visitor, and I would like more people to know about SDLG underground loaders.” the customer said.
