SDLG, one of China's leading construction machinery manufacturers, is marking the fifth anniversary of China's Belt and Road Initiative by renewing its offering to the groundbreaking project.
It has now been five years since Chinese president Xi Jinping unveiled his plans for the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative (BRI). As of 2018, the BRI’s Silk Road Economic Belt — a half dozen land corridors connecting China with Southeast Asia – are connected by a freight train network that extends across 48 Chinese cities and 42 European destinations, enabling the fast and reliable delivery of goods between the two continents. On August 26th, 2018, the network marked its 10,000th trip, with the arrival of freight train X8044 in Wuhan, China from Hamburg, Germany.
However, there is still much more work to be done, and SDLG is keen to highlight its range of cost-effective construction equipment that is reliable and simple to operate – an enviable mix for project of this size and magnitude.
Over the last 18 months, SDLG has launched a host of new machines that are primed to provide the groundworks for further expansion.
Four F-series wheel loaders were launched in April 2017. The L953F, L956F, L958F and L968F wheel loaders feature a modern design and a host of technical enhancements, resulting in a machine that exceeds customer requirements.
Then, in May 2017, SDLG launched two new variable horsepower graders. The G9190 and G9220 VHP motor graders are variable horsepower versions of two of its biggest selling motor graders for Middle Eastern and African markets.
SDLG followed this with the launch of its first asphalt compactor in the Middle East and Africa. Launched in June 2017, the RD730 was released to meet demand as infrastructure spending increased in the regions.
Finally, in October last year, SDLG launched the efficient and versatile B877F backhoe loader. Half a tonne lighter than its predecessor (the B877), the F-series backhoe loader features a brand-new engine, greater cab space, enhanced cooling capacity as well as state-of-the-art loader linkage, among other improvements.
With such a variety of new high-quality and cost-effective construction equipment already on the market, as well as more expected to launch early next year, there has never been a better time to invest in a fleet of SDLG machines. What’s more, SDLG’s well-established dealer network spans across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, makes it the perfect partner for the revolutionary Belt and Road Initiative.
