One of the SDLG’s dealers who is Chinese-funded key account in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have fully implemented the cooperation agreement and promoted the business development in DRC since the signing of the dealership agreement in 2024. Due to the early stage of co-operation, the dealer has insufficient understanding of SDLG’s business policies, product portfolio, aftermarket services, and the complete solution of mining equipment, etc. the Central Africa regional sales and service team decided to go to the dealer at the first time to know more about the situation and carry out training.
Recently, the regional team led by Tom Liu, Vice General Manager of International Marketing Company, came to the dealer's site in Lualaba Province. Considering the safety incidents, SDLG and the dealer work out a safer travelling plan, in order to visit and research the typical working conditions, have business negotiations with customers, visit the mining customers who engaging in earthmoving work, etc.
In addition, after work, the sales and service team organised comprehensive trainings for business personnel of Central Africa on SDLG’s business policies, after-market, product knowledge, typical working conditions, case study, and the complete mining solutions, which make up for the dealer's lack of knowledge.
In the future, the sales and service team in Central Africa region will continue to work side by side with the dealer, seize the opportunity, accurately grasp the local situation, adjust the business strategy quickly and accordingly, and pursue the development and success in the DRC market.
