In May, Almaty, Kazakhstan blossoms with vitality as the peak season for construction machinery sales is approaching. SDLG's overseas Top Driver 2023 kicked off here.

SEVALO, SDLG local dealer, invited over 50 wheel loader operators and excavator operators from various regions, including Karaganda, Chimkent, Ekibastuz, Aktobe, and Astana, to Almaty to showcase their exceptional skills.

The competition was divided into wheel loader and excavator categories, combining theoretical maintenance training and practical challenges. The practical challenges included excavator movement test, excavator threading, wheel loader ball toss, and wheel loader beer bottles opening. Participants showcased their skills with enthusiasm, aiming for satisfying results. After intense competition, Shakhanov Eldor from Chimkent won the excavator category, while Dzhiemuratov Azammat from Almaty emerged as the wheel loader category champion. 

Shakhanov, the excavator champion, said excitedly : “This is my second time participating in SDLG's TOP DRIVER campaign. As an excavator operator, it has been an unforgettable experience for me. I am not only delighted about winning the prize but also grateful for the opportunity to learn from and connect with fellow excavator operators. I sincerely thank SDLG and SEVALO for organizing this event. I hope such activities will continue in the future, and I will continue to promote SDLG excavators and support this event!"

The successful conclusion of SDLG TOP DRIVER 2023 in Almaty paved the way for this campaign to be held in other countries. TOP DRIVER, as one of the most successful public welfare activities initiated by SDLG, will continue to benefit more operators across the globe, while enhancing SDLG’s brand power, influence and recognition in overseas markets.
