Days ago, the roll-off ceremony of HTE220, the first high-end transmission jointly developed by SDLG and VOLVO, was held in SDLG Parts and Components BD High-end Transmission Workshop.

The ceremony was attended by SDLG top executives Wang Zhizhong, Yu Mengsheng, Wen Degang, Ma Xingqing, Wang Zhesen and Chi Feng, VCE Senior VP Anders, Jinan R&D Center President Mats, VOLVO & SDLG Joint Office Operating VP Susan, VOLVO Sweden ESK Factory Supporting Team, Assistants Song Xiaoying and Chen Weitao to the General Manager, principals of relevant departments and all project team members. The ceremony was chaired by the Chief Engineer Chi Feng.

At the ceremony, Mr. Wen gave the warm speech, expressing congratulations to the roll-off of SDLG’s first HET220 high-end transmission, and delivering heartfelt gratitude to the project team and VOLVO supporting team for their hard work. He pointed out the successful roll-off of the first HTE220 high-end transmission marks that SDLG’s product line strategy has made new breakthroughs, revealing its ability in developing and manufacturing core parts and components in the new level. He hoped the project team, relevant departments and personnel can continue the hard work and overcome technical difficulties to make new contributions to batch production of the product.

In his speech, VCE Jinan R& Center President Mats expressed congratulations on the successful roll-off of the prototype, hoping they can continue the deep partnership with SDLG for common development.

After that, the participating executives unveiled the prototype and took a group photo. After the ceremony was concluded, the participants visited the workshop that assembles the high-end transmission.
