On September 5, SDLG and Thailand’s TCC Group held a grand opening ceremony for their joint sales and financing company at the Impact Forum International Conference Centre in Bangkok, marking a key step forward in SDLG’s localized operations in the Southeast Asia region.
The event was attended by nearly one hundred guests, including SDLG Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Marketing Company Shi Shengyong, General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Marketing Company Shi Dong, TCC executives, key clients, and industry media. During the ceremony, Shi Dong and the Thai partners officially signed the joint venture agreement, ushering the collaboration into a new stage.
In his speech, Mr. Shi Shengyong emphasized that Thailand, as a key hub in Southeast Asia, has long been a core market for SDLG’s international expansion strategy. In recent years, with the deepening implementation of regional initiatives and the release of policy benefits, Chinese manufacturing companies have gained significant opportunities to expand overseas and deepen cooperation.
SDLG has actively responded to national strategic guidance by continuously advancing its dual-driven model of “localized operations, globalized services.” He noted that the joint venture not only represents a key step in SDLG’s corporate philosophy of “unconventional operations, leapfrog development,” but also serves as an important platform for integrating into the Thai and broader Southeast Asian market while co-building value chains with local partners.
Following its establishment, the new company will significantly enhance market responsiveness and service capabilities, offering flexible, tailored financing solutions to lower barriers for customers. It will provide a fully integrated, end-to-end solution—from equipment selection and financing support to after-sales service—delivering the full “product + service + finance” ecosystem.
During the ceremony, the Thai representatives expressed strong confidence and high expectations for the partnership with SDLG. They highlighted that TCC Group has decades of experience in Thailand’s construction machinery market, with a broad customer base and a mature distribution network. Looking ahead, the joint venture will leverage SDLG’s leading product technology and TCC’s local expertise to accelerate the development of end-user sales networks, provide the full range of SDLG equipment and solutions, and establish a standardized, professional after-sales service system—including parts supply, maintenance support, and equipment management. The goal is to deliver full lifecycle value to customers while jointly expanding SDLG’s presence across Southeast Asia.
At the event, Mr. Shi presented the authorization plaque on behalf of SDLG, officially granting the joint venture the qualification to sell and service the full range of SDLG products in Thailand. The latest H-series excavators and wheel loaders were also showcased, drawing strong interest from customers with their energy efficiency, high performance, and intelligent control features. The exhibition generated a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the event.
Notably, as a leading enterprise in China’s construction machinery industry and a national “Intelligent Manufacturing” demonstration company, SDLG has long adhered to a high-end, international development path. Today, SDLG has established multiple overseas production bases and marketing centers, with products exported to over 160 countries and regions, and a steadily growing share of business abroad. Along the Belt and Road corridors, SDLG has already built an initial network of sales channels and service operations covering Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. In the Thai market, SDLG equipment has been widely deployed in major infrastructure, energy, and mining projects, earning a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence.
Riding the wave of global expansion, SDLG will continue to deepen its strategy combining internationalization with localized operations, continuously introducing intelligent and new-energy construction machinery, strengthening regional cooperation, and optimizing its global resource layout. Against the broader backdrop of China–ASEAN cooperation and Belt and Road development, SDLG is leveraging its solid overseas experience to set a new benchmark for Chinese manufacturing in international collaboration and value creation.
